What does the Game Camera feature do?
It lets you pull the card from a game camera and view it on ranger screen. There is also a text option to others in group with ride command plus, without need for cell coverage. A nice feature.

Very cool, thanks!

I put Siless in the underside of the tunnel today to help with temperature and block even more noise. Pretty simple to do and relatively cheap. I wanted to do it before it got dirty and made it harder. As I suspected, there was no insulation there at all. However, I was surprised there was insulation under the floorboards. I wish Polaris would insulate tunnel rather than save a few dollars. It is a really easy way to shield some heat and noise.

I also made floor mats out of rubber horse stall mat. I used the thicker stuff that is about 3/4 inch thick. You can get either thinner or thicker at Tractor supply. Thicker is about $50 and I was able to do all floorboards with one mat. Thinner would take at least 2 mats because they are smaller. Thicker is heavy and a little difficult to work with, but will not move around and easy to remove to clean. I made patterns for each of the 4 sections with poster board and cut with jig saw. I didn’t think to take pics. Will do it and post tomorrow. These simple mods made the rig even quieter and nicer.

Very nice! I would love to see how your mats turned out.

Last post for a while at least. I’m feeling like I’m becoming burdensome and have taken over the site.

I was curious about storage after hearing about lack thereof on xpedition. XD did a pretty good job. There are 2 glove boxes, bin under driver seat, under middle and passenger front and similar under backseat. I have ordered a smaller bed box made for ranger 1000 but will have to modify for XD. Need that for tie downs, tow rope, tools so here’s hoping it works. Pics attached of XD interior storage.

Happy to help! Sounds like I can pass baton to you in a week or two!
Well maybe, Polaris website now shows my Ranger as built and going through "inspection" showing a ship date of Feb-March. I'm sure it's not the correct dates but just a shitty job of communication with the customer. You would think they could do better.

Mine showed built and going through inspection for a few days. It always showed expected ship date of December 18 but actually shipped on the 12th. Sounds like Polaris is back to its inaccurate tracking system. It worked pretty well for me at the end. Mine shipped a couple of days after it showed built, so I wouldn’t Get too worried. This is such an anxiety game! Sorry you’re going through it!

Not near enough information out there on the new 1500 XD, anything that is shared is much appreciated. My machine should arrive shortly and I'm getting ready to buy a turn signal kit and tool box. I've got the mirrors, snow plow, front camera, and visors ordered already and they are at the dealer just waiting for me to pick them up with the Ranger. It helps to know what others are doing or have done so far!

As I notice something or think of things, I’ll let y’all know. In the meantime, somebody please tell me to shut up if I become a burden!

I just took my rig over to the dealer. There was paint that bubbled and chipped on edge of hood a little bit that my dealer noticed when it was delivered. He ordered a new hood piece and it just came in. The air also doesn’t blow through the face vents so there is something disconnected behind the dash. He will fix that too. I have had zero issues with anything else and have nothing but praise. I will pick it up next week when I’m on my way to St. George, UT for a week or two. We will take it out in desert and see how it does.

While I was there, he had a 3 seat Ultimate camo that had come in a day or two ago and the customer was picking it up today. He has his final and third allocation, that is a silver crew ultimate on a truck on the way. They are definitely moving through the system now. He will know in January when he has more allocations and how many.

So much for my commitment to stop taking over the forum. Will stop now…maybe…haha

Accessories added so far:
1. 32 inch BFGKM3 tires and beadlock wheels. Honestly, this machine needs a 32 inch tire. Looks so much better and feels like it needs the extra Size. It certainly has no problem accommodating it. I am guessing you could easily do a true 33 inch tire. Might get 34 even. BFG doesn’t have any larger, so I wasn’t interested in looking at another brand.
2. Rock sliders that I put on after I took the pics.
3. rear bumper. Kind of unnecessary, but due to the way, I packaged things. I basically got it for free.
4. Bed mat
5. Brush guard
6. Spare tire carrier
7. Rail tie downs
8. Street legal. In my neck of the woods it will spend as much time around town on roads or highway as in the dirt. Legal to do so and many of us use these for our run around cars.

I do have a 20 inch Baja designs light that I may put on the roof tomorrow. Also, I am adding a couple of rear spotlights and an additional rear seat dome light since I’m going to have the headliner off anyway.

After I get lights done, I’m probably not adding anything else. It really doesn’t need anything. I will see what AZ learns with suspension and may do something there based on his recommendations.
What offset wheel did you use sir? I got same machine.
