Is anyone aware of any updates coming with the 2025 models? I’m thinking of pulling the trigger on a 2024 that is significantly discounted but I’d hate to buy now if there are going to be any significant updates.

You can go to the Polaris website and look at the 2025 Ranger XD. If you want camo than a 24 or 25 will do for you. Gone with 2024's are Sunset Red and Turbo Silver replaced by Ghost White and Titanium. 2024's have a 1-year Bumper to Bumper and a 3-year Engine and Transmission warranty. In 2025 it comes with a 2-year limited warranty. Best you talk to your dealer to ensure you fully understand the differences between the 2. There is no mention of any changes on the Polaris website at this time, I doubt there will be any significant changes. When I updated my Ride Command software it added Cooled Seats next to the Heated Seats....so far there has been no information about cooled seats and no mention of it on the 2025's.

Spoke to dealer today and he does not know of any changes for 2025. He did mention the cooled seats but said there has been no information if it would be standard or an option when they come out.

Great summary Big Red
has anyone heard about the Transmission update on the 1500XD. I was in the shop yesterday and the rep told me there was and firmware update that changes shift points and makes the unit run better. has anyone heard this or done it yet. INFO PLEASE

I also bought the Premium not the ultimate not knowing the difference sight unseen. I bought all ride command and installing it myself. Just wondering can you buy the heated seats. I was hoping it was already built into seat and you just need wire harness and switch. anyone know?

I just ordered my 2025 and the dealer did confirm to me on the phone today that trans flash came out in August, the 17th I think!!

They upgraded the hydraulic arm for dump bed. And I was told a better rear axle. When mine arrives I will update you all. But these are all I know.

I wonder if us 2024 guys with the clunking can get the upgraded rear axles under warranty eventually. I finally get to pick up my machine on Saturday after 3 weeks. And I’m being informed it’s still going to clunk because Polaris doesn’t have a permanent fix/solution. They were told of a possible loctite fix, but supposedly told to hold off and no actual description or instructions.

That's what my dealer also stated. Pretty funny eh, POLARIS created a repair video and don't make their dealers aware of it. It's their method of denial.

They done the same thing 19 years ago when the doghouses were overheating on the 700's . People had the engine surrounds literally melting behind their legs and Polaris denied they had a problem.

I personally do not believe they upgraded the axles on the 25's . I am guessing they either tightened the spec on the spline tolerance, updated the flaw in their QC, or changed the China supply vendor. There is a relatively small percentage of us that have the defective axles so it's not a design issue, some of us were unlucky and received defective axles and/or hubs.

Nobody will die from the bad axles so it's not worthy for any lawyer to want to take it on and it will cost Polaris mucho to do the right thing so unless we as a group keep bringing it to others attention and cause bad press we will be stuck with clunkers.

They put 25 axles on mine didn’t solve the clunking. I agree the axles aren’t different

My dealer had me on a three way call the day I ordered with his main rep at Polaris. Im going to forward him this thread and ask for another call with them to say "hey" why are you (Polaris) not doing a recall for so many that have the problem. I will lean as hard as I can. They know it's an issue, therefore they should also know what the right thing to do here is. I believe in a level 5 exchange but it takes two parties that believe for that to work out. I will remind them of that.

I report back!!

You’re talking about the axles, right? What’s exactly happening to the axles? They’re just breaking.

Heads up I called

GILOMEN INNOVATIONS

Because I had my ECU flashed. They said I don’t need to worry about that stuff any more. Since it’s been tuned. I just put computers back on working g on suspension and stereo now. Let yall know how it runs after. This company is spot on. They take their time and talk you though everything and got the ECU back to me overnighted. I marked my ECU with my name and address and got my Same unit back within 24 hours of them receiving it. Stand up company. Let you know how the power and feels. So far I just started it up and no problems.

I drove it up and down the driveway and that’s it and I can already feel the throttle response. There’s no doubt in my mind. This thing’s gonna run 100 times better. Sidenote I did put an SNB air filter in when I did this at the same time. I think they’re like 50 bucks.
