They added some power band thing in there when you put it in tow mode so you can really feel the torque if you do that for takeoff
 
Brent - Keep us posted on what the tune all does. Top speed, power, acceleration. I assume that one of the modes retain the stock tune like their previous ones did. Is that correct?
 
They say 85 miles an hour top speed. I’ll keep you posted. Not sure if I’ll hit that.
 
Ya I’m definitely interested in doing the tunes. Especially for the 20° cooler fan temps for engine coolant. Just need to talk to me dealer a little bit about warranty after install.

Im going to forward him this thread and ask for another call with them to say "hey" why are you (Polaris) not doing a recall for so many that have the problem. I will lean as hard as I can. They know it's an issue, therefore they should also know what the right thing to do here is. I believe in a level 5 exchange but it takes two parties that believe for that to work out. I will remind them of that.

Not sure about influential but I will give it a go. This is not right and the dealer went on an on about how quickly for the smallest thing Polaris will recall. Well a rear axle is is a big thing. I think it's worth a try to hold Polaris accountable. I will do my best to get as far up the ladder as possible, it might help that I am waiting on a unit that is pre-paid and could very well have the same problem.
