    Transmission, loud whining sound started

I’d have to say mine doesn’t have that whine either. Not loud enough for me to even notice. Have you checked your transmission fluid level? I’ve heard some machines have left the factory slightly under filled. My dealer has even mentioned that.

    Intro

Welcome aboard! I like your color choice. I’ve heard those expeditions are super noisy in the cab. For that reason, I didn’t even give them a chance. I was interested in them when they came out, then Polaris introduced the XD and mind was made up.

    PO301 cylinder 1 misfire

Could be doing what I call on install jobs, finishing details. Rear window, trim, body panels, etc. don’t think to much into it yet.

When is first maintenance ACTUALLY due?

There is no need for the 25 hour break in oil change unless you want to. Technically and to follow the maintenance schedule and Polaris recommendations, you don’t need to change the oil until the 200 hour/2000 mile mark. I did have my oil, front and rear diffs changed at around 90 hours/900...

    PO301 cylinder 1 misfire

Dam, more involved than I would have thought. Not sure about, but that would make me cringe a little.

    PO301 cylinder 1 misfire

Oh dam. I would say, hopefully they re charge the A/C. But I guess if not, you probably have that covered.

    Shifting problem?

Make sure your foot is on the brake. When you press the brake pedal, there should be an audible click, once you hear the click, then you can shift into a gear. If your not hearing a click, then the brake pedal interlock, might need to be adjusted, if that’s possible.

    Mr. Ranger’s Homecoming

We’ve only got a dusting so far. But I think it’s time to put my order in. Just in case. Headed to Disneyland on Saturday, and some weather is expected while we’re gone. Hopefully we can make it up the driveway.

    Heat in the cab

What I have found that works best from owing an xp 1000 and an XD 1500. I go around at night with a flashlight and a second person and check for any light penetration. There is some drain holes, gaps, etc. once you find those and seal those up, you should be a lot better. It won’t be vehicle...

Polaris ranger 1500 sound system options

I heard the same thing, no fade to the rear. But when I picked mine up, there definitely is and it works. I wonder if that was a ride command update?

Poll - What should have been standard equipment on the NorthStar Ultimate

I like the electric door lock idea. Some of the items don’t really pertain to me, since we can’t legally drive on the roads here. We can go from pasture to pasture in our rural areas but not technically legal. Although I did add a horn, to help with getting cattle and mushroom pickers out of the...

    Clunk discussion

Mine seems to be the drivers side. But can’t really tell. I need to have my wife drive it while I’m either in the back seat or outside the machine.
