Mr. Ranger’s Homecoming

Mr. Ranger was delivered back home after 35 days at the dealership. He has a new driver’s side door and a new windshield. Still waiting on a beefier hydraulic lift for the plow. I used a snatch block from my sailboat attached to the plow and ran the winch line hook to straps on the bumper to get a higher lift of the plow. I kept the winch in low range as high range was still too fast even with the 1:2 ratio using the turning block. Snow coming on Monday and I’m ready for it.

We’ve only got a dusting so far. But I think it’s time to put my order in. Just in case. Headed to Disneyland on Saturday, and some weather is expected while we’re gone. Hopefully we can make it up the driveway.
