Xp 1500 fuel mileage

I haven’t used the new 1500 a lot but I have noticed that it has pretty crappy fuel mileage.

I’m getting 14-15mpg over first 260 miles. Pretty much mix of various driving scenarios. Not great, but about what I expected.

Haha. Clubin made me chuckle! I think all of these new performance machines drink gas. This 3 cylinder, despite low rpm’s, is its own version of a performance rig and moving a lot of weight! Additionally, I know I am not caring at all about what my foot does.
 
That doesn't sound much different than an equally equipped Ranger or Defender.
