I thought it might be fun for the group to post pics and ride info, so I started this thread. We had several inches of new snow so thought we’d get out and enjoy it. Attached are a few of pics.

Looks fun! How does the XD do in the sand? I’ve never taken my XP to any of our dunes in Oregon. But I think I’d like to take the XD to either our central Oregon dunes or to the coast after I get it and check it out.

Dropped air to about 10 pounds. Probably do better lower than that but she does just fine. I keep it higher because I run the pavement sometimes.
Are used to run my XP 1000 Ranger a lot lower. They both do fine in the soft sand. I will say the difference between the XD and the 1000 is totally a different ride.

Hello Carolina. New XD owner here with a question for you. It looks like you have the Kolpin UTV Aluminum Bed Box on your Ranger. The Kolpin web site says it doesn't fit the XD. So, I'm wondering how you mounted it and if you're happy with it. I see Big Red has another brand box on his that fits the Ranger bed, but quite a bit more $$$. I get a 10% discount from my Dealer on Polaris and Kolpin products for 90 days from purchase. So I have to decide before February what other accessories I'd like. And I found out early I need more storage room. Thank you for any information or suggestions you may offer.

As you can see the Kolpin box is not hanging on by much, you can see the exposed track on the side. That said I'm sure you could make some extension brackets to make it work it just depends on how clean of a look you want.

Thanks Big Red. Yeah, the Kolpin site is confusing. It says the box "does not" fit the XD, but yet they sell a mounting kit for the XD 1500. The Kolpin specs say the box is 63" long but the picture on the machine looks like it's short. Not like the UWS box you have. Also, the mounting bracket leaves the anchors on the outside of the box so theoretically someone could just unscrew it and take it. We stay in hotels or cabins on overnight rides and I like to be able to lock everything up. I'll have to re-think this. The frugal (cheap) side of me was just trying to save $120. Another question I have is, will there be room for a spare tire behind either the Kolpin or the UWS box? I bought the Polaris spare wheel and tire mount because we've used a spare on rides in the past. I think I saw a picture of someone's XD crew with a box AND a spare tire mounted behind it. But I don't know what size tire it was (thinking of going up to 32s). Sorry for being long winded. Thank you for your help. You and the people on this site are a great resource for information. Thanks to All again.

Search for "Toolbox" and you should find the conversation I had when I was looking for a toolbox. After I bought mine Wincollector bought one too and he put a spare 32" BFG KM3 between the box and the tailgate. I measured mine and I think it would be tight. I'll look for the thread and bump it if I find it.

My toolbox came off my 1000. No it does not fit perfectly. However, it does fit and have had no issues. Unfortunately, I just put two lag bolts through the box into the plastic rail. Not pretty, but has never come loose.

Excellent. Thank you.
