Transmissions are good. For the amount of them out there the failures aren’t anything to Worry about i laid a hurt on mine. No issues.

The rear clunk seems to be a somewhat common issue for most of us. It’s in one of the rear axles, or both. I can’t determine if it’s one side or the other. Sounds like it’s central to me. It happens when I press on the gas then let off most of the time. Polaris hasn’t addressed the issue yet. One member here removed an axle or both, cleaned the splines very well, added loctite and reassembled with no issues I believe. I asked my dealer about it, and was told Polaris back stepped on that process.
I wouldn't worry. Though this transmission is new to Polaris and the UTV world the design is old.
Counting the one above there have been three failures I have read and there will always be manufacturing errors on occasion. Since yours is a 24 I assume you still get the 3 year powertrain warranty, that gives me piece of mind.
It's a very late 24 as well. Also purchased the optional 2 yr extended warranty for whole machine. 2 yr standard incentive offered by Polaris for my 24.
They must have changed to match the warranty equal to 2025 warranty.
Agreed, the real difference in warranty resolution falls on the dealer. If it is a good dealer that cares about their customers such as yours did I think they can drill through Polaris bs and reduce the down time to a minimum.
They did as an incentive. I figured not much if anything has changed from 24 to the 25 models so went with the 2024.
