SxS aren’t looked at as on road vehicles here. They are their own thing. No rules for us.In Iowa the same laws apply to SXS's on the roads as vehicles. We can have zero tint on the windshield and front doors, on the rear doors and back window you can go as dark as you want. Not everyone follows this law and more than a few have gotten tickets for it around here. As for me, I don't want to give the cops a reason to visit with me.
Same is true for us if you keep them off the public roads, if you do that you can do whatever you want. Iowa does not look as SXS's as on road vehicles either as they are not licensed and only require a DNR tag to be legal. They don't require turn signals, DOT tires, or many of the other things some states require to drive them on the roads. That said they seem to be a stickler on the window tint.SxS aren’t looked at as on road vehicles here. They are their own thing. No rules for us.
They sure look good with tinted windows

I am central Ohio (outside Newark). Four years ago we could ride our everywhere except four lane roads but to many hot rods doing donuts and middle of the night roaring past people's homes ruined it. Law done what they had to doIn Ohio we aren’t technically allowed on the local highways but, most local sheriffs don’t bother you.
