Introduction - Old guy from East TN with a new toy-2door Northstar Supreme. I will be using mine everyday around the property to haul me and my junk/tools around. Main hobbies are rebuilding pre 70's garden tractors and 1950-60's pedal cars. Hope to learn some stuff about the new XDRanger and contribute when I can.

Welcome! Love that you will use yours primarily as a little truck!

You will have to share some pics of your restorations. What a talent to do that well! I have a couple of restored Murray pedal tractors. One from the 50’s and another that was my childhood pedal tractor from the 60’s. I also have a couple of old John Deere tractors I’ve restored. A model 70 and a model G. My patience level on restorations wears thin. I enjoy final product, but don’t love the process. Sounds like you enjoy the process.

Thanks for the welcome. Your tractors have a lot more real estate than I mess with. Attached is the last couple of projects.

Love the Garden Tractor, I'm assuming by its color it's an A/C. Great restorations and welcome to the group.

Thanks for the welcome. Appreciate the confirmation I’m not the only one who finds the switches confusing. The last Ranger I owned had the same dash diagram but a single multi position rocker switch to choose the drive mode. Maybe the advantage the 1500 two switch have is you can lock the front and leave rear unlocked. Not sure why you would need this though.

Good call on the paint color - TSC‘s single stage AC orange paint.

Howdy folks, South Texas boy here. Just picked up my new rig yesterday, just in time for deer season. Gonna miss my 2014 Ranger XP, she ran like a champ for 10 years, but it was time to upgrade. Had the dealer install 33x10x15 tires on stock wheels and I will be installing headache rack w/ winch, side mirrors, visors and horn. Unfortunately, I am having alignment issues with the headache rack, hoping to get this sorted out soon.

Welcome to the group Dirtguy, glad to have you here. What tires did you go with and how do you like them?

Hello, southeast Ohio here. Love riding on our property and backroads with my kids. Had several rzrs and rangers over the years. Ordered a Ranger 1500 Ultimate Crew in Titanium Metallic. Already have most of my accessories. Been lurking on here for a while and have learned a lot. This is a great forum.

Welcome Jerem62,
We were originally from Barlow area. East of Columbus for a long time since. We were riding backroads several years ago but had too many fast lovers and accidents so the law was forced to crack down.

Hello all…East Texas guy here. Picked up my new XD Crew a couple weeks ago. We love to ride the back roads with our family and friends. I’ve already installed new Rigid rock lights, Rigid front spot, Rigid reverse lights and upgraded my blue interior floor lights. I just ordered the WD Electronics blinker/horn kit and hope to put some bigger tires on it soon. I just want to say that the hour or so I’ve spent on this site has been a worth of knowledge and new ideas.
Thanks!

Hello Hittman, welcome.
I love Rigid products, pricey but that's the price for quality.
