I went with System 3 XTR370 tires. Mounted them on the factory wheels so they are tucked in the fender wells. I had to trim a small bit of plastic in the upper front area but it was very small. So far, so good. I have not had the machine on the trail yet, still trying to deal with alignment issues with my headache rack and winch. Hopefully, will have the rig ready to be at the ranch for the opening weekend of deer season. Can't wait to put her to the test.

Welcome to the group Hittman, glad to have you here! Dido on oneal's comments, Rigids are pricey but top notch. Lights is one place I have gotten cheap on my last 2 Rangers and have not regrated it. There are so many low dollar options on Amazon now that work really, really, well. I'm also sure there is some shit out there but I've been super happy with my last few choices.
New from Muscatine, Iowa. My wife and I are trying to decide between a 3 seat and a crew. Had 2014 900 crew and liked it but rarely used the back seat for much. Took a few people with us on rides but it was too loud to have a conversation, especially between the front and rear seats. Leaning toward the crew with the hope we can have conversations while riding without the need for headsets. We've looked at new ones but have not test driven any yet.

LOBRI - I live south of Mt. Pleasant and used to go to Muscatine often. I worked for Hearth N Home Technologies a HON Company and spent a lot of time in their facilities. You absolutely must test drive the 1500 XD in Comfort mode. You will be so impressed with the smoothness and how quiet it is. 2 door or 4 door is up to you, personally I'm a 2-door guy. My wife and I own and run a dog boarding kennel here in Missouri. Have owned a few 1000 Rangers in the past and have been very happy with the new XD 1500 so for. Can't wait to try it out on blading some snow this winter. I am using the Glasure poly blade off of my 1000. Had to mod the blade tilt back block due to the height difference of the 1500. Anyway happy to be a new member here and hopefully learn some cool things over time.

Old Wisconsin guy here, picked up our Ranger on the 27th. This is the 3rd one we've had. New machine is '24 Crew 1500XD NorthStar Ultimate. Last few years we haven't done much riding but plan on doing much more. We take the motorhome south, for 3 or so months during the winter. We do a lot of traveling, generally from Yuma, AZ area to north to central FL to see friends we met over the years. We also tow our Jeep Gladiator behind and look for trails and rocks to play on. When back home in SW WI the Ranger is used on land we are clearing or out playing on the local trails or extended weekends on northern WI trails. Still in the office almost daily when home or in the coach. Really looking forward to the knowledge of y'all and the camaraderie. Happy New Year to all!

I am new to the forum. Just sold my 1923 Ford Tbucket and spent my money on an xd 1500. Getting delivered this Saturday with an 84" snow blade just in time for the snow storm on Sunday. First side by side. Coming from the hot rod world you can never have enough power and torque. Fingers crossed I bought the right one. Being from Missouri it will have to show me!

Welcome Scooter23, We're rom Southeast Iowa, Muscatine. Seems like the weather forcasters are having a hard time narrowing down where, when and how much snow for this coming storm. Sounds like you'll get yours just in time for it. We love our 1500!
Welcome Scooter23, the fact that this is your first SxS may effect your expectations. Price point can make folks think they are getting automotive level of quality but you don't.
You will have the smoothest and most quiet buggy available. Most of us are happy with our purchase, hope it works for you as well.

Welcome to the XD group Scooter23 and welcome to the SXS community. Like oneal said the $50K won't buy you an automotive like experience but you will have a rig that will damn near go anywhere and have fun doing it. While not automotive it is as close as you can get in the SXS world. I'm also from SE Iowa and live about 20 minutes north of the border, where are you located in Missouri?
Just south of St. Louis. Have a huge driveway and private street to help plow. Live on 4 acres and thought this would be an enjoyable toy to work and play in.

Scooter23 - Looks like you'll get to play with it this Sunday. The last forecast I heard is we are supposed to get between 6-10" of the crap starting Saturday night. We barely had any snow in December, so I guess we're overdue for some of the white shit.
