Tracks?

New 1500XD and first set of tracks since 20 years ago
Just received and installed 2 sets of Mattracks ZRX, 6500 GVW. Very impressive and worked well. Using them to work a job site at a ski resort where there are a lot of UTVs running various tracks. Most everyone, running cheaper tracks, talks about ongoing issues, bearings, wheels falling off, etc. Hope the HD mattracks hold up.
25k each including shipping and added fee to expedite our order (1 week), Mattracks was very knowledgable and responsive.
The EX HD are much cheaper, 5500 GVW, but dont have "suspension" which is just a rubber filled torsion tube attached to the track bar.
Only complaint at this point would be that the hub adapters and brackets have to be removed to put the wheels back on.

I’d never buy their stuff again. I had them on my 1000. Nothing but problems. Tracks rubber separating. Bent axles. Bearing failures.

Not much snow to groom but I rolled a little. I'm shocked how much tighter the XD1500 turns with SVI Duratracks vs my XP1000 with Camso 4S1 UTV tracks. In thin snow cover (like right now) the Camso tracks used to not steer as well - I suspect due to the longer rear tracks "pushing" forward. The Duratracks so far have the same or better grip it seems (deeper lugs, makes sense given the snow cover) but also don't "push" in corners. I'm eager to see how it runs in real snow conditions and if it has enough floatation in 3' of untracked powder (happens every few years - a big storm). We're expecting 1-2" of rain the next few days so I expect we'll lose what little snow we have. If only it was 10 degrees colder....
 
Like I said before I have zero need for tracks, that said they are just plain cool and the right tool for the job if you do. The tracks are awesome and since they are on a "Red" Ranger it has to be the fastest machine on the trail. Thanks for the photos and keep them coming.
