Titanium Metallic

Not impressed. Seatbelt is fastened. Seems to rev very high, takes a few seconds to start going. Feels like something is holding it back and it’s very loud. It’s in comfort mode. Just doesn’t seem right to me. Running about 4500 rpm at 25 mph
What you are describing is NOT right, not even close to how the XD behaves. There is not any mode that would run 4500 RPM's at 25 MPH, not even Tow/Haul. I'm not sure that there is anything that you could be doing wrong that results in the condition you are describing. I would quit driving it and take it back to the dealer immediately. Keep us posted.

I am going to. Something is definitely wrong. 50” light bar won’t turn on either. Definitely not off to a good start.

Uh no, I agree with Big Red. Wish we lived a little closer, you could jump in mine and compare. If it takes 4500 to get 25 mph it's not going to ever see 60.
The condition you describing is how mine performs in Tow/Haul

When you give it throttle it revs reel high and slowly takes off. Very similar to what 505 outsiders was experiencing in that video

I tried all 3 of them including tow haul. Comfort was slightly better but not much

Yeah, a little sickening considering the amount of money this thing cost. Hopefully my dealer will acknowledge it isn’t right. Wish I would’ve test drove it before I left. He loaded it and never acted like anything was wrong. I noticed the moment it took off that it wasn’t right.

Does the engine sound like it is hitting a rev limiter? Will it still rev 6500 ?

I will have to try it this evening. I get home from work at 3:30 and I will let you know

Wife backed it out of garage and with it in park it hits rev limit at 3500 rpm with seatbelt fastened

My dealer is taking good care of me. Going to do a trans update tomorrow morning
I am surprised a 25 needs it but do agree with it as next step.

Mine limits @ 3500 in neutral (belt clicked or not) same as yours

Total limit in gear appeared to be 6200, maybe 6500

Total clutch engagement is 2000-2500, I kinda always nail mine and then back off the throttle a little. I like that diesel feel and seems to engage the best.

I couldn't honestly report speed to rpm as s x s`s aren't welcome on the roads here. On occasion it's ok so I ran it down the road for the first time.
In standard which is what fits our woods -4500= really close to 45 mph
Comfort was slightly less rpms at same speed
As mentioned I never use comfort in our woods but when I switched it to comfort on the road I didn't like the feel of engagement. JMHO
