Just got Mr. Ranger back from the shop. They installed our plow with hydraulic lift and hydraulic angle controls. They also corrected the winch grounding recall.

I have the new 7' plow as well but couldn't stomach the cost of the hydraulics for no more snow than I plow. I really like the plow control on the Ride Command which solves 90% of the problem of not having a controller on the gear shift.

Same plow I bought. Same setup too. Now tracks.
I hope the hydraulic lift kit works for you.
It doesn’t work for me. There isn’t enough piston travel. With it lifted all the way the plow still hits the ramp of our barn. I have to use the winch to lift it higher in order to clear the ramp! It also hits the road at the end of our downhill driveway.
It might be good if you are plowing a level area, but on our hillside it’s unusable.

From your earlier picture it looks like the lifting cylinder can retract more and there is a lower mounting point on your plow for the strap. Closing the cylinder so you can move the strap down on the plow should give you more lift. I don't have the instructions but that looks like a possible solution from what I can see in your picture.

I need to modify my earlier post. If I have my wife working the controller and I lift the plow, then it goes up about 50% more. I need to find out why it won’t lift all the way without physically helping lift!
The dealership had a problem lifting the plow enough to get the vehicle on a trailer, and used the winch to assist. I’ve got a call into the dealership to discuss this problem.
