Hello from Montana

Hey all, just picked up my Polaris Ranger Camo XD 1500 Crew Ultimate on Saturday. So far loving it.. I have a 2019 XP 1000 Crew, which I have loved but I had the ability to upgrade, and hey I deserve it.. hehe.. So far this thing is night and day different. So quiet and smooth. I plan on using it to commute to town (about 10 miles) via forest service road (only a portion is maintained). And also to plow my driveway and potentially the 1.5 mile portion of the forest service road that is not maintained by the county. And of course just my daily driver when up here at the cabin. I am in Western Montana near Missoula at an altitude of about 500ft so we get some good snow..

Anyhoo just want to say thanks in advance for all the help I’m sure I will receive on this forum. I’m in IT, so I’m kinda smart, but I am seriously mentally hindered when it comes to mechanical and engineering.. So anyway sorry in advance for any stoopid questions.

Welcome! I’d love to explore Montana in my ranger. My brother in law just moved part time to kalispell/big fork area. He’s on flat head lake. My wife has visited, but I haven’t made a chance to visit yet (could be partially by choice lol).

Yes I am just south of the lake. Kalispell area is awesome. We were trying to find a house there years ago, but the jobs just didn’t pan out. So now we have a cabin which is just as good if not better.. Not as many people where we are.
