Gilomen comparison

That makes sense, I knew I checked on "something" that had different levels of performance and cost. Anyone know what the Gilomen tune cost?
The cost if you send in your TCM and ECU is $750 with around a 2 week turn around time. You could also have them unlock your TCM and ECU, purchase a tuner and do yourself.

I was just passing along what I saw on Facebook. I was wondering also if someone held a grudge for whatever reason. In my opinion, Gilomen is probably the most respected tuning company out there and I'm still considering using their tune.

I sent them mine just before Christmas. They turned it around in 1 day and sent it back 2 day air. So I was only 1 week without my machine. There is a noticeable difference in power and low end torque.

Ah, I misunderstood. I thought you were there. I seen enough bs on my wifes FB account.

This is a report I trust.

I was wondering if I decided to do this, if I could pay for next day or 2 day return shipping. I’d probably send it next or 2 day as well.

They include standard return shipping. You can choose next day or 2 day for a small fee. I think 2 day was like $25

Wasatch, do you think it is worth the upgrade?

I'm going to get one brand of them, I don't hear anyone on this forum talking about Aftermarket Assassins

Anyone try aftermarket assassins tune? Was hoping someone tried them so we could compare results between them and Giloman.

I haven't had one of AA's tunes on a XD 1500 but AA tunes are very good that is what Mike is known for especially with RZR . I have had several of his tunes and the last one was on a NorthStar xp 1000 crew. I also think Gillomen makes a very good tune.

Damn. I don't think I could install that without screwing something up. I'm not much of a computer guy. Looks like a good tune though.

Looks way more complicated than the Giloman tune, not something that I would want to mess with.

He made it seem much harder than it is. I onced played with the tune on my YFZ450 and done a small amount of robotic tuning adjustments, once you mess with it a little not so tough.
I like the idea of different maps, probably the only current method of changing is delete and reload

I’m thinking the same. I’m not a big techie guy. In fact, I use another technician on my team for that type of stuff. And for the price difference, I think I’d have to choose Gilomen. I do like the ability to have different tunes, and the results are impressive.
