I agree it's only money, something I say often. I have no children........so it's tough to use the Father's Day gift idea. I also use the DINK excuse often "Double Income No Kids" Truth is I don't need an excuse my wife gave up saying no to about anything I want to buy years ago. Oddly enough this time around it's all me, I'm just not sure I want them that bad. I went to their website and looked at the options, I wish they had a little better "Mat Builder" to design it with. I'll visit it again and get a better feel for color options and designs. I'm thinking something simple with just a border and maybe Ranger in the center of the mat?? Not sure...what I really want is a simple WeatherTech style floormat that can hold sand, mud, and water except I haven't found one yet. I'm sure somebody will make one soon. It’s only money. These were the first mats that I knew were available for the XD and some here bought them. I think it took a few months more before anything else was available. I definitely like the look of them, but I prefer something that has a lip around the edges to hold the salt and sand in the wintertime. The good news is there is at least 4-5 good options out there now to suit everyone's taste.Guess I have always missed this post, they are really sharp
I agree with you on the lip, I never thought I wanted mats since you can safely hose these machines out but I am rethinking the idea just so I could have a containment lip for removal of the daily tracked in debris. These were the first mats that I knew were available for the XD and some here bought them. For me I hate when dirt, sand, rocks and water gets in the recessed bolt holes or when mud gets smeared all over the floor. Yes, you can wash them out but for me it's just so much easier to dump the floor mat out or wash if off if needed. My brothers are fans of the bare floor and didn't get it when I showed them what was available. So, as you can guess my Ranger is always clean inside and they have rocks and dried mud smeared all over the place.I agree with you on the lip, I never thought I wanted mats since you can safely hose these machines out but I am rethinking the idea just so I could have a containment lip for removal of the daily tracked in debris.
