I just got back from a trip to the mountains and mine started clunking from the left rear when getting on or off the throttle. I pulled the tire the other day and the axle nut was tight. I better take a closer look at the cv joints. 2500 miles
I can kinda see the name, tuners pretty much void warrantys. Their website says they do cars, bikes, utvs, etc. I think I will wait also. Just wondering if anyone else has tried them out.
I guess there is a company called Warranty Killers performance in Louisiana that is offering a tune for the 1500s. I contacted them and of course they wouldn't tell me exactly what they did, but they supposedly addressed the transmission slipping issues that some people are having on steep...
I got it too. I've used my winch a lot plowing snow, no problem. Begs the question though, why in the hell is there a problem with the winch ground? Not many things are simpler than that.
You can buy seat belt clips on Amazon. Just pull out a little slack and latch the clips. The downside is the seatbelts won't retract unless you loosen the clips
I ran a search and didn't come up with much. Anyone here running front limit straps on the front shocks? I've been reading of some shock breakage when topping out on the xd1500 Facebook page. If so how long did you go with?
I plowed quite a bit of snow last winter. The winch works great but I thought it went in and out too fast to set the plow height just right. I rigged up this pulley to cut the speed in half. I thought it was a lot easier to run.
We have a 24' tilt deck that we haul a large skid steer with. It feels kinda weird the first time you load and unload but you get used to it. The only thing I don't like is loading with a wet deck in the rain. The tires don't have much grip on the wet wood. Need to bolt some old snowmobile...
Welcome! These are governed at 65. The aftermarket is working on tunes but not there yet. IMO, the biggest improvement would be a more positive transmission engagement. My steering wheel was also at 1 o'clock, I aligned the tires to 1/4 inch toe out and it solved the problem.
I had a Corbin kit installed in mine a couple weeks ago. I'm one of the few that doesn't want a stalk, but rather a toggle switch since I don't use them that much and I wanted to keep the other switches on that side easily accessible. It works great, and it has a timer that shuts off the blinker...
The part that concerns me a bit is his review of the transmission. I haven't got it out on any trails yet, but I have climbed some pretty steep hills in my pasture. I've felt the hesitation he was talking about. I'm planning a trail riding trip after planting so we'll see how it goes. IMHO...
