Had a thought tonight. Took the two twist latches off the hood (4mm allen) and put a thin washer between the bottom of the hood and the little "T" piece that turns
beneath the hood, added a little dry lube to both sides of the washer and snugged them back up. Helped a bunch to make it easier to...
For whatever reason the left tab (passenger side) is harder to snap into place than the right one. I've put some dry lube on the tabs and the underside of where they latch. That helped a little but they are still hard to turn into place.
I'm unaware of any changes to the 25 model. We got our 25 about 3 weeks ago and there are no recalls on it so seems like they've taken care of those items on them.
We just got our 1500 two weeks ago. This thread got me wondering if ours had this or any other recall. I don't really trust getting mail or emails for critical things anymore. Found this page on the Polaris website where you can check to see if your 1500 has any recalls by VIN, My garage or by...
Welcome. We just got our 25 1500 crew a little over a week ago and love it. In Iowa we too are able to ride most everywhere but freeways and a few larger cities and are happy that we can!
Used to be that we couldn't either. Really nice now that we can. We can't ride on highways but we can ride on most country roads. Cities make their own rules and some won't let UTV's be ridden in them. Luckily we can ride anywhere in the town we live in.
👍 We're in Muscatine, Iowa. Personally I'm happy we don't live that close to a Buc-ee's. At least I'd always know where my wife was! (Added that because she reads all of my posts.) 😂
Hope to get ours back from window tinting today. I'll check to see what ours is for rpm at 25 mph and let you know. For the few miles we drove it before taking it in for the window tinting it didn't seem to be revving abnormally high.
