Welcome aboard charlieB!
I have zero issues with the roof leaking, nor do I have any issues with the head liner, but I have an enclosed cab. Like Mr.C I have not seen a set of metal doors for the XD yet and they might be slow coming. Every XD I've have ever seen has been a NorthStar, so I don't...
I started off with a Makita 9.6V then upgraded to the 9.6V / 12V combo drill when it came out, one of the best on the market at that time. I then moved to Makita 18V drill, impact, radio, light, and maybe a few other tools. When it was time to upgrade, I heard the local Milwaukee dealer would...
Guys like tools and most of us are passionate about the brand we use so I thought I would do this just for fun.
My first time doing a poll, so I hope it works.
No, I don't know aircraft, or many other machines for that matter. But in the end machines fail due to mechanical or electrical issues (yes, I know that's over simplified). I firmly believe if the engine quits running at 5000 feet gravity dictates it will fall from the sky even if it has...
Holy Shit Sabaku have you never been on an internet Forum before? Don't you know that most people don't jump on to these forums and type that "I rode my Ranger today and nothing happened." They tend to be a place where people with the same interest bitch, complain, brag and sometimes share...
This forum is too damn quiet, working on 300 members and only 10 have much to say. Years ago, I was on a few motorcycle forums and if you wanted to have a lively discussion all you had to do was talk about oil. So, in an effort to create some buzz around here I'm going to bring it up. Here are...
1973 Mercury Montego, 4 door, pea green, dark green vinal top, with a 351 Cleavland 4-barrel. Two owner car in perfect shape with 73,000 miles on it. I bought it in 1983 for $700 which was a good deal if you were into big ugly cars. It's what I could afford at age 15 and needed it to run trap...
I thought the same thing when I stumbled across this video, it seemed like a strange video to make since many people would take it to the dealer to do this and all the machines out there are still under warranty.
So what is "pump gas" and what is "clear gas"? In my area we have about 4 main choices and they are listed in order of cost.
1. E85 - Not approved for our machines.
2. 89 octane which contains 10% ethanol.
3. 87 octane which contains no ethanol.
4. 91 octane which contains no ethanol.
89...
For those of you that have the Polaris 84" plow system I have some information to share. Last year I broke a shear pin and used the spare that came with my plow. I called the dealer when it happened, and he didn't have any nor could he get one at the time. Not a big deal winter was almost over...
I always run 91 octane ethanol free gas in all my toys and small engines and have never had a problem. I had problems with 10% ethanol in a motorcycle and riding lawn mower years ago and have run 91 ever since. That said, I'm not saying that you have to, but that's what I do and have never had a...
