Because they are designed to "creep" when in gear the warning is programed to come on after x seconds of no movement. Supposed to alert you so you don't run into or over something.
Power washed mine, no visible leaks. A week ago was caught in the woods by a monsoon and all three of us got dribbled on. Every s x s I owned was never rain tight but I have higher expectations of one that costs 50K.
I have a roof rack coming which requires roof bolt removal, probably add...
It would be a simple mod,
Install a relay near the battery with a fused hot to it.
Run wire from relay to beeper, ground as well of course.
Find back-up light circuit, tap into it and run wire to relay trigger connection.
I'm sure they changed the easiest of all parts,(spark plugs) but the symptoms of no fire until it warms a bit certainly sound like a fouled plug on yesteryear engines.
Wet cvt's are WIDELY used in the automotive industry but typically are in smaller/lighter vehicles. Our XD's weigh only a 1000ish less than a jeep and are rated to tow 3500. I have to believe they tested them 30% over ratings in severe conditions.

My check engine light came on yesterday after a couple hour ride with ac cranked up but I...
Recieved my order Friday morning, had them installed less t two hours later.
Workmanship, design , and powder coat all top notch.
TF had no record of matching sunset red so I had to go to prismatic powders and choose, I went with wizard red and was pleased with the match. I read later after...
Yes,, it makes no difference which one is used. Both are activating the solenoid and the solenoid is sending power onto winch motor. Pretty sure motor is doa.
I agree 6000 is plenty powerful.
The term used in my industrial maintenance life was infant mortality , X number of units produced...
