New 1500 Northstar Codes

New to Forum, Cmkendrick, own 1500 3 seat Camo Northstar and Red Crew Northstar. Both less than 50 miles.
Red Crew has codes today

268698 1
269997 2
517826 9 Check Engine Blinks when this code is up

Motor barely runs

Any Information is appreciated

Thanks, dealer picking it up today, none of the codes were in the list provided by Polaris. Camo running fine until get the crew back

517826 is a trans slip fault been fighting with mine since new. Dealer replacing the engine today as per Polaris instructions. Nothing else worked. 8 months of this code! As well as a cylinder 1 miss p301 every time I start it

Loading it now taking to dealer,517826 is gone engine running fine other 2 codes remain. Thanks for responding

As far as what dealer told me it’s a torque limit fault for the trans every time it came in for me we were easy cruzing not torturing it. So I don’t know. They have reflashed my ecu more times than I can count.
 
Dealer performed Transmission update worked fine for couple days Code 517856 13 appeared today engine hardly running back to dealer again.

Keep us informed please. This isn’t something every one is seeing. Every time I seen the code was for no reason. Easy riding.



Im hoping to get mine back this week if engine replacement went good.
 
Got then crew back yesterday worked fine until today same codes again plus new ones 6 Total , Power Steering, Speedometer, Hung up in Positive traction for both rear wheels same previous codes plus more total of 6 now. They reinstalled the transmission update dealer picking it back up now. Hope they get it this time Getting old. Assume having issues with the update

Oh s #it crazy. That’s odd it worked at all. Seems like something got unplugged. Something important!
 
Agree, sounds like a bad sensor/harness connection or a wire bundle loom pinched. Especially if it was running fine?
 
I swear half the problems with the XD's is they have too much technology, maybe Polaris needs to dumb down our machines. Don't get me wrong I like a lot of the bells and whistles as much as most but I'm also a fan of shit just being mechanical and easy to understand and fix.
 
1500 Crew still in shop, Polaris said one of the 3 Speed sensors is bad, checking that now.

Hopefully you’ll be back out on the trails soon with no more headaches.
 
I also wonder if some of the dealerships are prepared in their diagnostics the advanced technology of the 1500's

My dealership was on a steep learning curve with mine when they were doing the engine.
 
If they know the Pro R engine the 1500 should be very similar. Basically 1 less cylinder and tuned more for torque rather than HP. The tranny on the other hand.....that is a new animal unique to the Polaris line-up.
