Does anyone know what version number the latest transmission update from Polaris would be? Or maybe what department to try to contact at Polaris to find out?
I want to take my machine to another dealer to confirm that the update was indeed installed. My local dealer has done a few things to my machine lately that has me questioning their competence and integrity. I just want to verify that the update was actually done.
Thank folks.

Curious to know this too. According to my dealer there isn't a way for us to see if we have the update but......

I was under the same impression. I don’t believe there is a way for “end users” to know what version is being in use.

I'm interested as well since I'm taking mine to the dealer on the 19th for recalls and service. Out of curiosity would anyone share what your dealer charges you for an oil and differential service.

Make sure to download the service coupon from polaris. I think it's good until the end of this Month. It's $50 off in dealer service.

I wanted to get all of your impressions about how your machine ran after getting the update. What did you notice about how the machine ran before and after. I think mine runs a little bit better but it isn’t too much of an appreciable difference…..there may be a little less lag in moving forward or getting over obstacles.
Also, I have officially joined the 1500 clunk club too…….

Damn if you were closer I’d come over and have a beer and change it for you.

Yup! I’ve got a couple of them printed off. I might use the $200 off one for a roof rack.

Not sure on the breakdown of cost. But I was I able to find that I paid around $550 for engine oil and filter, front and rear differentials, spark plugs, lube/grease, transmission fluid check, and air filter.

It's not that I can't do it, I always did my other Rangers. I'm having them do it simply because I've been really busy lately and it's going to be at the dealer for recalls so this time around it's the easy button for me.

Saw this post yesterday, looks like Polaris has released another TCM update. Possibly an update to the previous October release?? Anyway, when I get back into town I will be inquiring about it at my dealer. If any of you guys know anything about this new update, please chime in.

Just had my clunking repaired and RGR-RO2 update installed . Runs like a dream

Mine is in the shop now. I am gonna make sure I get the RGR-R02 update. Since that came out after I dropped it off. Just to make sure I get the most up to date version. In case they already updated it all and cross it off the list.

Spoke with my dealership about this. Answer is the first revision was for the 2024 models. The 2025s are being updated at the factory now however for the number of them purchased before the TCM update the Revision 2 was released. They are the same TCM update, no difference as I'm told.

What dealer was this? Midstate or Cascade?
