Anybody try to trade with dealer? Ive been to three dealers and got the same value xd ultimate with 1800 miles 25k to 26k tanked $17000 thats with 1200 in accessories

The UTV market is a rough business to be in right now, supply is outpacing demand, and a lot of dealers are doing deep discounts to move them. New inventory is bank rolled by Polaris for a period of time, so the dealer has no money in them. When the dealer takes your trade it's his money being put in the inventory, just what they don't want to do when sales are soft. At the end of the day when new ones get cheaper the used ones get cheaper too.

I've seen a number of owners already selling or trading in their XDs. Wondering what some of the reasons are.
It is easy to get "buyer's remorse " with the 1500.

It sells for almost the same price as a Jeep except in the Jeep you are not riding in a plastic box held together by push pins . The Jeep comes with true automotive doors that seal , windows that always work, electric door locks, intermittent wipers, low range, steering columns and dashes that don't leak air, and is street legal everywhere.

As Big Red mentioned we are all upside down with our 1500`s . Compounding this is in my area is that currently there is a lot of uncertainty that has folks holding back on purchases that aren't necessities.

I sort of figured this was the case. I went from a JD Gator to this which is night and day difference. Bought the XD for the long haul (hopefully). Was surprised a bit to see relatively new machines being traded or sold already. People buying different brand or just newer 2025 models I wonder.

Some people don't like the way the Steeldrive transmission works and may want to go back to a belt. I for one absolutely LOVE the Steeldrive transmission and will never go back to a belt. I'm sure some of this preference is based on the way you use your machine. The good news is the Steeldrive will only get better from here, not sure how much better a belt system will ever get.

I was just seeing what kind of value my machine was worth and was thinking about upgrading to a crew cab dont think thats going to happen
