Has anybody had a huge air leak coming around steering column? When it’s cold out my legs freeze. The other day air temperature was 55* and I’m getting lots of hot air coming in which has to be from the coolers up front. This could be a problem in hot summer temps.

We have a bit of a leak under the dash on ours. It’s not as bad as yours sounds, but definitely there. It’s next on my list to attempt to find and plug.

Yea, you are not alone. Mine also let's air.

I'm fairly sure they all leak air through the steering column, door handles, door latches and I'm sure a few other places. I'm told they did something behind the door latches that makes that a little better. I'm not impressed by any of these issues but never really had a problem that the A/C or Heater couldn't overcome.

I’m like Big Red….ac/heater make up for it. My drivers door does lock on it’s on when it feels like it though.

I had the same complaint when I got my new ranger. I did a thread on it awhile back that you can look up. Had to take the floor tunnel off and reseal the seams and there is also gaps on each end behind the dash that i put expanding foam in. Makes a world of difference.

Thanks. I’ve got my Ranger in at my dealership now. I’m going to pass this on to them.
