Rattle

Hello! I have both two door and four door xd’s… the two being a 2024 premium and a 2025 crew ultimate. That being said both have a significant rattle in the dash where I assume underneath where the windshield latch’s to the dash mount……. The ultimate is more pronounced but both sound like a solo cup full of loose nuts and bolts……

I have the exact same thing. I can’t seem to pinpoint where it is exactly.

I also have had some noise under the dash, I removed my gauge cluster and tied up any wires and connectors that I could find that were loose. In my case the added turn signal kit was part of the problem. I just recently noticed my windshield gasket was making a squeaking noise, when I inspected it, I found the gasket was barely touching the frame in some places. I just ordered a 3/4" x 1/4" foam gasket that I'm going to see if it solves the problem.

I don't think I have it, at least not in the dash area. I will listen on the next ride.
I have an exhaust rattle but is minimal noise and sporadic.

Around the entire windshield gasket. 3/4" wide on the bottom (where I believe the noise is) 1/2" wide on the top and sides All 3/8" thick. Makes the windshield fit much tighter. Did the same on the last two XP NorthStar's as well. I would post a picture, but I'm nowhere near my machine now.

I have two 1500xd’s as well. 2024 premium 2 door and a 2024 crew Ultimate.

I just installed a 3/4" wide by 1/4" thick gasket tonight on the sides and bottom of my windshield. It does feel a little bit tighter which is a good thing. For me there was no reason to do the top as it is already so tight it sticks when you open it. Out of town this weekend so probably won't test for a couple of weeks.

You guys have me wanting to go home and see if mine rattles now. I can’t recall. For those of you installing gasket material, are installing on he windshield seal or onto the cab/frame?

Good evening all! Mine is definitely a dash or inside dash rattle not the windshield but very noticeable sounds just behind the ride command and underneath the windshield latch… Asked our local owner of the Polaris shop to come and take a spin with me down my driveway….!!!

I have a 2024 Premium with the same issue!
Rattle is in the dash, somewhere between glove box and shifter, closer to glove box.
I’ve asked dealer how to disassemble dash to find rattle (no help there!).
The noise I have sounds like a something hitting the inside of the dash.
If anyone knows of a video or instructions on how to get into the dash to find rattle, PLEASE share. Thx!
