We're going to be picking up our new 25 1500 crew ultimate in a few days. I wanted to have a checklist we could use while we are still at our dealer to make sure everything works as it should and questions I wanted to remember to ask before we leave. I looked here and on FB and couldn't find any checklist people were using. Thought I'd include what I have for others to use. I keep adding to it as I think of things and would appreciate any comments you all have on things to check/ask about that aren't on the list. Our dealer is adding WD turn signals, horn and Polaris sun visors and mirrors so some of the items are specific toward those things. The list is in no particular order, I just add things when I think of them.

Latest ecm/tcm update?
Oil levels -engine, front, rear, transmission checked
All windows/switches work
Any gaps in doors/windshield seals
Lights all work appropriately (reverse turns on backup light)
Turn signals work
Emergency flashers work front and back
Horn works
Mirrors adjust appropriately
Look at roof seals
Tires air pressure
AC works
Heater works
Able to change where the air comes out of the dash.
Fan speeds

Not sure what the "Foam in the doors locks and catches x 4" for sure. I think you just mean they latch correctly? May want to ask if the door handles have been fixed so they don't lock on their own. Several have had this problem.
Make sure the winch ground recall was done, if not have them do it before you leave (very simple and quick)
Many of us have had leaking windshields than can be fixed by adjusting the hinges.
Could also check Bumper Lights

Hey Big Red, foam in the door locks and latches is a new thing Polaris is doing to help with air coming in through the latches in the pillars and doors. Added - see if they solved the doors locking on their own, winch ground recall and bumper lights. Thanks!

Got to get me some of that "foam" for my doors. I made my own last winter.

Don’t over think it. Buy local. Support local.

Almost all of that is done during the pdi.
Thanks Clubin. Just want to cover the things I've seen on here and FB as much as we can before getting home with it and finding an issue. Agree on buying local which is what we are doing. I did get a price from another dealer in Tennessee that is known for great deals, gave it to our local dealer and they came close enough to matching it. Win Win.

That is a great list LOBRI.
Like Big Red mentioned I have not heard of an actual Polaris upgrade on the door lock seals, that is encouraging.

Saw this on a Facebook post.
