Hello from Texas,
I’m a 3rd generation rancher who has been using rangers on my ranch over 10 years. I traded in my ultimate 1000 ranger back in April for the 1500 2 door ultimate. Looking forward to learning and sharing information.

Welcome to the forum. I’m sure you definitely put the rangers to work on the ranch.

Yes sir, spraying, putting out hay and corn for deer, transferring diesel to cat 310 and hauling dirt around barns.
Use it everyday.

Hello Johnnie, welcome to the forum. Be interesting to see how the 1500 holds up as a work vehicle.

A big improvement from the 1000 but should be with what they cost. 2600 miles, 235 hours. So far it’s been good. I do have the clunk and drivers door locked on it’s own about 7 times. It definitely has heavy duty suspension as I have hauled 18 little square bales alfalfa hay to deer feeders. About 1300# of hay. Pretty top heavy but pretty impressive.
Have hauled 900 to 1000# of dirt in bed with tailgate down as my bucket on 5100 jd is longer then the bed on ranger even with tailgate down. I weighed it and when I went to dump the dirt the cylinder acted like it was nothing. Impressive. I take very good care of my equipment and use this ranger everyday.
