We’re back at Matt’s Off-road Games in Hurricane, UT again. Last year was a crazy good event, despite horrible weather. Here’s hoping this year’s event will be even better! The event starts tomorrow, March 20th and goes through the 22nd.

I like Matt's Off-Road videos, I watch them every time a new one comes out. Matt and his crew seem like genuine good people and don't take things too seriously. Have a GREAT time!

He really is. Meeting him in person, he’s just a down-to-earth, genuine person. And his events carry that same feeling. A lot of genuine people, who share a passion for all aspects of off-roading.

That’s awesome! I’ve seen a lot of his videos, especially lately. lol. They’re always entertaining and he never seems to get worked up. Have a good time.

I will show my age,,,,,and ignorance, who is Matt?
He has a YouTube channel. Where he and his team perform extreme recoveries of vehicles and off roading. He also has a great selection of off road vehicles. We have a local guy out here in Alfalfa, OR that does the same thing, I also watch.

Matt is a fella who started out with just a towing and recovery business in Hurricane Utah. He started videoing his recoveries in the local state park and surrounding areas with some very tricky and difficult jobs. The video side took off and got really popular on YouTube.
For the events, it started out as Matt’s Wrecker Games, which was extremely successful, and brought in all kinds of off-road enthusiasts. So he changed it to Matt’s Off-road Games.
At last year’s event, we met people who’d flown in from all over the world to see the event. I personally got to talk to people from Scotland, New Zealand, Australia, India, Israel and Japan. Despite the weather being extremely windy, cold and rainy, the turnout was massive.
We’ll see how this year goes.

We’re working on having a good time. Hopefully the weather stays nice

Thank you both for explaining. Just due to lack of time I am a non FBer, and not too much u-tube but I will likely look for Matt while enjoying my coffee this weekend.

I don’t have any source of social media and no paid tv besides Netflix. So I watch a lot of YouTube for off-roading and hunting videos. That’s how I found him along with many others. It becomes a rabbit hole.

I stumbled across Matt and his crew several years ago, before the Wrecker Games. I started watching him before he built the Wrecker which was quite the process. Just finished seeing the school bus completed and waiting for the Spud truck to get done. I can't believe he still uses that small, crappy trailer to recover SXS's many of which barley fit. Speaking of SXS's Matt not a huge fan of many that he recovers.
