Having owned xp1000, x3 and x3 max that are all in the past i am considering getting into the cabbed sxs market. My son just purchased a 2 seat ranger 1500 ultimate and now im on the research for a 1500 4 seater. Mostly interested in using for a family cruiser with the dogs and not an extreme offroader. Probly put 33’s on and run as is

Sounds like your son made your research fairly simple. I honestly wouldn't promote a 1500 for a hard off roader but it is a Cadillac for those of with similar riding desires as yours,.

Welcome to the forum! I’m a fellow C.O.‘nian. Live out in the Alfalfa area. I had an XP1000 ranger northstar for 4 years, before purchasing the XD 1500. I don’t regret the purchase or expense at all. So much quieter and comfortable. It’s definitely a good cruiser if you just wanna explore the BLM and USFS lands. The price seems about the same as it was when I bought mine from midstate almost a year ago. John and Eric were great to deal with.

I paid full sticker for mine, but I ordered it in August of 23 and took delivery in Jan of 24. Times are MUCH different now, both my brothers bought in August of 24 and paid $5000 under sticker with trade ins. My guess is you should easily get $5-7K under sticker on a 4 door right now.

Bought mine from Cascade Motor Sports. Talk with David in sales, tell him I sent ya. Mine was a tad more than MSRP only since I added everything under the sun and extended warranty.

Keep hunting, even before the market was,saturated I got 3K off msrp.

If you want to make a trip to Iowa, I'm sure Hunter (owner of my dealership) would gladly take $5K off and 10% off all accessories. I'd make your dealer an offer and would be surprised given the current market conditions that they would turn it down.
