My wife and I own and run a dog boarding kennel here in Missouri. Have owned a few 1000 Rangers in the past and have been very happy with the new XD 1500 so for. Can't wait to try it out on blading some snow this winter. I am using the Glasure poly blade off of my 1000. Had to mod the blade tilt back block due to the height difference of the 1500. Anyway happy to be a new member here and hopefully learn some cool things over time.

Baronwood - Welcome to the group!! Like most of us I also had an XP and ordered the XD before any were around to look at much less drive. I now have almost 2000 miles on it and have never regretted my decision. I live in the SE corner of Iowa what part of Missouri do you live in?

St. Louis.
 
I live 2 miles east of the Avenue of the Saints and can be at the border in less than 30 minutes, be in St. Louis in under 3 hours. We used to do day rides down that way on bikes taking river road out of Hannibal then catch a ferry by St. Louis, cross the river then back up the Illinois side.

Very nice up that way. I have never done any rides up there but would be interested sometime in checking it out. I have taken my boat up there a few times to eat at a little restaurant there on the Illinois river by the bridge that go up and down for barges. They have 2" thick porkchops that cut with a fork. Can't remember the name of it.
 
There is a swing span bridge in Fort Madison but no great chops that I know of. You might be thinking of the Burlington bridge which I believe opens up. There is a restaurant overlooking the Mississippi there called Martini's Bar and Grill that has good food and a killer pork chop. Probably the best I've ever had.
