Now that the kimpex hd4 is out and is nearly the cost of the duratrac street price which is the better setup? Looking to pull the trigger on one of them soon but would be guessing on which to go with since they will be my first set of tracks.

I just went ahead and got the duratracs. I like the fact that they were designed for the polaris.

What is your use? I’ve had Camso in the past and Duratracks are far better built and the turning radius is significantly tighter… but right now I’m struggling in deep snow with the machine where my XP1000 and Camso UTV tracks didn’t. It could be the XD1500 is just too heavy, or could be too much torque. I’m still working though it, but wanted to give you the heads up.

Mine I bought primarily for snow too. When you get into deeper snow it has a hard time. Nothing dragging and it’s tough going. My xp 1000 would plough snow with the front. Tow haul works but it’s not very good.

I live in central IL so we don't get the snow you guys do. I'll mostly be crossing muddy plowed fields or going along muddy field edges hunting. I built a elevated hunting blind on some running gear and i need to be able to move it. My tractor just sinks due to the weight so I'm hoping this will be better. I also water a lot of trees with a water trailer and hoping i can pull that without rutting things up like my tractor does.

We get one or two good snow falls a year so i want it for that too but it's not the norm here. Maybe the tire contact patch style of the front track that is so nice when turning, is a detriment in deep snow. Everything is a trade off. If i wanted tracks just for snow it would be hard to pass up this rubitracks.

I, too, have the Duratracs on my unit. They are built like a tank. The rear tracks are the same size as the fronts so does not have quite the flotation as the Camso's. I have a set of Camso's on my Can-Am Defender. They work great, too. Duratracs do not have the flotation in deep snow, but I will take the build quality every day. This heavy machine needs rugged tracks.
