Does anyone have an idea on how to remove dash panels? I’m wanting to add a continuous hot usb to one of the knockouts below my light switch.
Thanks

I’ve installed a powered cell phone holder/mount, midland radio, and a CB radio. I’ve never removed the dash to install the wiring. Due to fear of braking a clip, etc. I’ve just fished the wires through the grommet under the hood and used a flashlight to find the wires behind the dash. I’m sure you could re wire the current usb outlet, to be wired hot all the time by changing the keyed switch to hot. I’d be afraid of draining the battery though over time. Just a thought.

I had mine apart to install a amplified antenna for FM reception.
The are torx screws on the top of the center panel and you also have to pop the switch cluster out near the bottom to access two more torx screws. Took me a while to find the bottom screws

I just happened to watch a YouTube last night on this. They were installing XM radio but were doing a full dash removal to do it so it might help.
