So bought the filter and 5l of cvt oil. The oil worked out to be about $45 Canadian per liter plus tax. The trans oil filter was $270 plus taxes. This is going to be probably the most expensive oil change I’ve ever done on anything. Part numbers of the oil and oil filter are in the pictures. Is there anyone that has the ability to cross reference part numbers to see if this transmission oil filter is common in anything else? In my brain, the oil filter looks like $50. Lol.
I have 7000 km on it now. So in another 1000 km I’ll do it. For the ones that have done this service, the oil pan gasket on the transmission is it reusable?

I’ve done a lot of internet searching since I have the time right now, and haven’t found any replacement filter out there yet.

I checked the numbers that were on the filter and couldn’t come up with anything useful either. I imagine this transmission is in something though. I don’t think it was specifically made for the ranger.
