Anyone have any experience with these snow blowers
So I figured what if I go this route with a heavy duty snow blower for my XD 1500, I should be able to do the road no problem, plus it would be safer and I would do less damage to my vehicle when moving snow, because I would be going so much slower.
So I am wondering if anyone has any experience with these snow blowers or any opinions on them. I live in Western Montana up in the mountains, so there is a lot of snow. Usually pretty dry snow though.
Thanks Mike
Polaris Ranger 72″ Vantage Snowblower with Honda 22Hp Motor by Bercomac.
I have been using a snow plow with my XP 1000 for a couple of years to plow my driveway which is about 300 yards. I then have a mile and half unmaintained Forest Service road i need to plow. It is too much and way too rough for the Polaris plow. So I also have a 3/4 ton diesel Truck with a full plow setup on it that I inherited when I bought this cabin. Problem is the truck is beyond a piece of crap. I have repaired the plow about 5 or 6 times in the last 2 years. The truck itself is no not running and I’m a mechanical dummy so I can’t fix it. I was debating buying a new truck from Craigslist or something, but that going to be $10k - $15k for someone else’s piece of crap. The truck only gets used for plowing, nothing else. So it seems like a waste. So I figured what if I go this route with a heavy duty snow blower for my XD 1500, I should be able to do the road no problem, plus it would be safer and I would do less damage to my vehicle when moving snow, because I would be going so much slower.
