Bed cap

Finished putting together the Kelly FabWorks bed cap.

Looks like a good snug fit. Does it sit in the bed or on the bed rails? How well is the water resistance?

It sits on the rails. I caulked the seams so now it's pretty water tight. I just washed it and the bed stayed dry

It looks good Doc. I'm not sure exactly what you're using it for, but it should keep a lot of items secure and dry. It got me thinking that it would be nice if the tailgate had a lock.

It wraps over the edge of the tailgate so when you lock the top there's no getting in.

I've got milwakee packout xl toolbox and xl cooler coming for one side. The other side will be a pelican case with rifles when hunting. Laws here make you keep them cased.

Yes, I forgot that you had bought those. The cap will work very well with your set-up.
