I mounted mine on top of the mat. I cut circles for access to the screws that go into the floor. I feel like it helps keep the floor mat better secured. And I usually just shop vac the inside of mine anyways when I do clean it.
I second that with all vehicles!! I’ve had a few now that don’t have dip sticks! Its annoying. First vehicle we had, my wife told me about an intermittent issue with it not shifting. Pulled the car in the garage and looked like a fool for 20 minutes trying to find a dip stick. Pulled the manual...
I sure in the hell hope not! Don’t get me wrong, I love my XD, and only issue I’ve had is needing the updates, which is no big deal. But I do have the clunking in the rear. And dealer said, they tightened to factory spec. My machine goes back to the dealer in mid October for rear stereo and plow...
I think if I was in your shoes, I’d rather hear them say, “oh, well we forgot to tighten this or that”. Knowing that it could happen again because it’s a software issue sucks. I’m gonna be using mine for 11 days here soon for elk hunting and I’ll be camping/backpacking from it. Kind of makes a...
I looked on my paper work, and it said tightened to factory spec. But doesn't have a value as well. I agree and think it’s weird that the fronts are way high, and the rears are lower. If I have time this weekend, I was gonna see if I pull the rear tires and see if they’re actually at 89 ft lbs.
Ya, mine were loose. Supposedly tightened, but I still have the clunk. But it’s going back in sometime mid October, so I’ll have them address it again. To busy with work and chasing elk on the weekends to not have my ranger.
Well dam, looks like I’m gonna have to order new floor mats. I knew I should’ve just waited. I like the 1 piece design better. I think those would help with heat transfer coming into the cab from the tunnel.
I can understand that. I’m just looking to better fill the cab more evenly, with some added sound in the rear. Don’t really need to be a teenager letting everyone in a 5 block radius know that I have a stereo. If I had a 3 seat, I probably wouldn’t purchase it.
I was notified mine was in also. But gonna have to wait until at least mid October. Worried with some of the reviews of it. My dealer has one in his and he said it’s an improvement and sounds good. He said it’s no expedition system, but he said likes it and after hearing a customers, he had one...
Ya, sorry I can’t help ya. I didn’t purchase one. But I’m assuming the the rhino tool holders will mount to the rail. It’s the same system as the rails I have on the Polaris headache rack and I’m using rhino tool holders to secure my axe and shovel.
