Here’s a photo of the tool kit that came with our XD 1500 NS Ultimate. It has never been opened and there is no spanner wrench. FYI

The last time we had September snow was 4 years ago. It piled up 11” from Sep 8 to Sep 10.

Just got Mr. Ranger back from the shop. They installed our plow with hydraulic lift and hydraulic angle controls. They also corrected the winch grounding recall.

I prefer Comfort mode for getting around locally. When cruising mountain trails here in Colorado, I use Tow/Haul. Comfort gives a smoother ride especially when slowing down, and runs at lower RPMs.

Is yours one of the vehicles in the recall about poorly grounded winch?

FYI: We just visited our dealer’s service department. Polaris still doesn’t have a fix for this issue.

The plow works fine until the plowed snow bank gets too high for newly plowed snow to go over top. Then I need to clean up with a snow thrower. We have a 10,000 sq ft driveway and we get a lot of snow at 8200’ elevation in the Colorado mountains.

Thanks for the reply. I bought the 7’ plow as an accessory with the vehicle. We can get some hefty snowfalls here at 8200’ in the Colorado mountains. We’ll see how it all works.

I received the same notice. Funny though — when I clicked on the “Product Safety Recall” link, I got an error message, “404 File or directory not found.” Sheesh!

After several discussions with the dealer, I decided not to purchase the Rammy snowblower. The mounting system would require modifications that would make it un-returnable. Also, the clearing width is 4” less than the tires. Therefore snow would get packed down on either side of what gets...

Also, before I started with the hole saw, I used a washer to shorten the depth of the arbor bit.
