That's a great plan Big Red.
I was a maintenance leader for a huge corporation and they were KILLING me, LITERALLY. I have mentioned my special son here and at 52 I received a sign that I had to do something different to be here and help care for him. I left Owens Corning and stepped down...
I hear ya and have thrown caution to the wind many times in my life. As I age I think more about what ifs and the fact of this being a 50K machine with a first time tranny I will probably wait a couple years.
I am still definitely excited and will watch how well yours and others work out...
This sounds very exciting but I have a question. Does this void our 3 year powertrain warranty ? Looks like it is a $1600.00 adder to keep a stock ECU and TCM laying around if they had to be returned to OEM for a warranty claim.
That is the same mileage mine started and yes mine was annoying me terribly as well. That's why I HAD to try the Loctite approach.
I personally would not purchase an aftermarket axle yet. What if it is the hub that is oversized rather than the axle undersized ?
I don't think it is the hub...
I agree with your wife.
I would like to think Polaris is developing a plan to fix this but until we are assured a plan exists and is implemented we have to assume the worst and continue to pressure them. I have a long history with them and they have been known to duck problems.
Probably my disappointment of returning mine for refund is because I read a review somewhere stating there is no fade control or else I misunderstood the review .
