When I ordered mine I thought I was purchasing exact box as Red. After I got it I realized it was a little taller on lid portion. Turns out they have a couple of different styles in the 63 inch. Either one works great and are priced the same. You can get a regular aluminum, not painted black...
Welcome! Love that you will use yours primarily as a little truck!
You will have to share some pics of your restorations. What a talent to do that well! I have a couple of restored Murray pedal tractors. One from the 50’s and another that was my childhood pedal tractor from the 60’s. I also...
I just bumped a thread where Red shows box etc. You will also see my posts about plastic box and then about face and copy cat Red On the aluminum tread plate box. Not sure how the copy thread so figured you could look at that. Thread is: “bed size info needed for toolbox”.

I can’t wait to see your mods! Based...

Haha. Love it. Your wife may be mad until she rides in it and will quickly forgive! Great rig! You’ll be happy, and so will she. Smooth and quiet. There have been a few complaints, but I think those are largely QC issues and not design flaws. Time will tell, but so far, so very good.
Hope...
We occasionally ride where flag is required. Sand Hollow in Southern Utah requires it, among others. I ordered a Tusk quick release mount for a 5/16 pole and figured I could modify it or a bracket in some way to connect to lock and ride max rail. To my pleasant surprise, the bolt head fit in the...
