I wouldn't say never on the turn signals, your Ranger already has turn signal indicators in the instrument cluster they are just not wired at the factory. Things like turn signals, horns, mirrors and so on are common on vehicles but that does not mean they have no purpose on an Off-Road vehicle...

Try it out at night and let me know what you think. I know I was really impressed with how much light it puts out and I no longer have a need for cube lights in the back. Some will depending on what they are doing at night.

The LED Cargo box light has 3 modes, 1-Off, 2-On, and 3-Reverse light. So it already has what your looking for and it is VERY bright and likely is all you will need. If you need more you could always run a separate set to a switch.

It's not the wire harness that makes this route unattractive to me. It's all the other shit you have to buy and fiddle with to add a few rear speakers and an amp. For me I'll likely just live with the system it came with.
