Exactly my thoughts with this New XD platform..it's new Tech is New to Us all. I can Work on My XP series Ranger if Needed. The 3yr. Warranty Should be Standard..and it seems like they tried to hide the Fact it wasn't Standard. The Deception is what I Question...??...

Red..I've never bought ext. Warranty either on any of my New Rangers. But they were touting a 3yr. Warranty with the XD. Wich makes more sense with a so called More automotive type drivetrain...and Price. Did you Realize that When you Bought your XD..? I can Honestly say..I wouldn't spend 40-45K...

Thanks Oneal...very enlightening and Deceiving on Polaris's end...I've been kicking tires now for 6months now on purchasing an XD. I would never buy this Machine now after hearing that. I wonder if the New Xps 2yr. Warranty is a asterisk SHAM ALLSO...UNBELIEVABLE...!!

I like the Ride Command in my 21 ultimate for all the Info it gives....but I might just Go with A XD premium NS this time around. I've only had 1problem with my ride command...it wouldn't keep the right time while set on the 12hr.format....just 2Days ago I found out it will Keep the Correct time...

Are you Guys taking about The Ride Command + available feature..?

That's a sad fact Clubin..Dealers like to push them Out the Door..ASAP...but Most are Lacking after the Sale. And most Dealers screwd up the 3000$ trade in incentives by just lowballing your trade in Price by 3000$...or I would Own a XD 1500 by Now. But iam Very Glad now that Happened this Way...

Both areas that I pointed out on that Pic...I believe coulda been straightened out buy the Dealership.I do have a Problem with a 40k Machine with Obvious blems like that. The dealers like to get them on the lot and get rid of them with as little attention as possible...IMO.

Here's a Pic....of the Windshield trim about Halfway up the driver's side is screwed up..and above the drivers door is caught on the Edge of the roofline..I see this Defect on allmost every one I look at.

Every XD 1500 I've looked at on the Lot had some sorta Defect of the Seals..be it on the Doors or Winsheild trim. And Dealers don't Take any effort to try and Straighten them Out....This area of the XD seems lacking in Quality Control for Sure.

I doubt you'll see the 25XDs anytime soon...they have Tons of 24s sitting on the lots..atleast in my Part of Pa... They would probably have to Start running Some more Incentives on the 24s first.

Good info Red...Yah alota different components it could be i guess. But apparently its One that isn't doing its part very well. Maybe thats why the Dealer told me not to the XD down over the Hill. Some guys saying they Run fine on the level....maybe some Kinda inclometer .... ?

Does anyone know who Manufactures this Transmission...for Polaris..? That's where they should be getting the Answers from...seems to be a common problem cropping up with Very little Use.

Well Eddy...all the New tech in the XDs is why iam still on the Fence. I currently own a 21 Ns. Ultimate and that is my 4th. New Ranger. And I have Driven a new XD and it is definitely in a different Catagory than an XP. But if my Xp quits I can Probably diagnose it Myself. Just Concering they...

Are most of these issues related to The XD ultimates or are the Premium Xds having the Same issues...?
