4600 miles and I replaced one rear shock and left rear axle. Other than that she’s running strong. There is an o-ring on the rear axle that pushes up against the differential when you seat it, you have to smack it pretty hard to compress the oring so the axle seats all the way and the circlip...

I had clicking in left rear for 1000 or more miles. I changed the left rear axle out to a highlifter axle and all is good now. The original axle seemed ok but I guess it wasn’t.

About right at 4 came out of mine. I used about 4.5ish to fill it

I looked all over and never seen a full port anywhere up top. The port where I filled has a riser up into the tranny and is used to check the level. It’s not on the very bottom but it close and there’s a riser pipe inside the tranny to set the level at around 140f.

well it shouldn’t glow red anymore! The oval shaped thing is a flex pipe and has to be there to remove the muffler. To stop the glowing make the cut a little lower down than I did in the picture(pretty much to the heat shield)and it right there on the output side of the muffler. Rode about ten...

I wonder what the oval shaped thing is just before the o2 sensor that is wrapped in silver looking heat shield. I assumed that was the cat. They don’t show that part of the exhaust in the Polaris parts schematic. All they show is the muffler and the manifold

If the cat is in the muffler it can be removed because the o2 sensor is before it. I might have to take mine off and put a camera in there and see were it’s at. Shouldn’t throw any codes and has to run a lot cooler

Ya pretty simple really. I’ve done several fluid and filters over the years.

My dealer knows nothing about this new machine. I had it in last week for a warrantied shock and it took them 4 hours to change a shock. They said they didn’t get the tool from Polaris to compress the spring. Wtf. It will throw a random code every so often and they had no way of looking up codes...

Has anyone done this to there 1500 yet? I see the transmission filter is $200 and the oil is about $34 a quart. I think when it comes time to do mine in a couple thousand more miles I will drain and keep all the oil and measure how much I took out and just put that amount back in. Looks like...
