The 1500 was a very smart move for them. If it weren't for the quite smoothness of it I would still be content with our Pioneer 1000. Our 2016 Pioneer was also a first year model and now has 6K miles and zero issues. Had a couple recalls that were just taken care of without forum pressures but...
The 1500 is definitely the tightest cab on a sxs I have owned. I think my own personal downfall is because I paid as much as I did for several jeeps I expect the same quality . I either need to get past that or change machinery
Please don’t think I am pro Polaris because I am not. To date I have owned at least 12 sxs’s. I swore off of Polaris due to the downfalls we are currently experiencing on past models.
But I made a mistake, drove a 1500, love it, and forgot the past.
The difference this round is we all have 3...
I have nothing to add to Big Reds comments but will say I am sincerely jealous of your riding area, it is beautiful. We had some very similar looking terrain when we rode in San Juan mountains in Colorado and the Paiute in Utah. We long for that kind again
I really like my thumper fab roof rack and razorback bed rack but my decision was based solely on aesthetics. If you desire functionality there may be better options.
That has always be one of their downfalls, glad you have a good dealer.
I was so curious I ran home to check mine and they seem fine. I have jerked on many over the years checking for slop and though have blown two to bits it was always in a binding situation and never actually wore one out...
You, CANNOT get free of issues
I tightened my spindles, clunking got louder. I overtightened them and noise level continued to increase. Told my wife yesterday I felt like the noise was coming from the rear end which of course where the plunge cv resides. On the 05's they had a tolerance issue...
Thank you for checking. If you think of it when you take yours back if you could ask.
For me to take mine to dealer is a half day and they will not schedule appointments with the thought of fixing anything while you are there so each issue is a half day x 2.
Mr C
I set mine at the specified 89 ft lbs and it stopped for a couple days. Came back louder so took them to 120 ft lbs and now louder and more frequent. I am still confused why the front specs are 180 ft lbs but there may be a reason. If you don't mind could you ask your dealer what torque...
This will seem silly and likely not the same but my drivers door window will not go all the way up unless the engine is running. Obviously that extra volt or two when the alternator is spinning makes just enough difference. I am sure I too have an underlying problem
Agreed.
I know some are indeed getting away with 35's and no suspension change. I also know some tire makers 35's measure 34 or less.
My 35's were going to eat a hole in my inner fenders,,,,,,quickly.
I parked it until I installed the System 3 forward a-arms. They make a fine product.
