Bed cover

We here at Alumilite Armor Side X Side Enclosures just finished our Bed cover for the 1500 XD. This cover sits and seals on top of the bed rim and anchors to the bed rail. The height of this one pictured has 8" sides. We also offer them in side heights of 3" , 5 1/2", 6 3/4" and 11". These boxes are made from .090 thick aluminum along with 1/8 wall square and rectangle aluminum tubing. We reinforced the top and lid to hold up to 250 LBS and is TIG welded all of the seams. The one pictured is powder coated with black sides and rear top and a desert tan lid. We also installed Roto pax mounting brackets on both sides and flag holder brackets. The lock is lockable and we also provide seal angles to seal the tailgate when closed along with the mounting hardware. We are a custom shop and willing to work with you if you have any specific modifications or requirements. How heavy is the 8” and how many$$$

I failed to put it on the scale before I installed it. It is about 65 lbs + or - a couple lbs. The 8 " side all black box runs $1,600.00. If you want to add the roto pax mounting brackets they are $45.00 each. Flag holders are $10.00 each, and to powder coat the base and lid different colors there is a $25.00 color change fee. Nice looking bed cover! Welcome to the forum!

Hopefully my bedcover will be here soon and I’ll get some pics up. They must be backed up with orders

Does any body know if some one makes a bed cap with some style like on the back of the expedition .

Got the new bed cover installed and I have to say the quality is top notch. Great guy to deal with and packaged very well in shipping.

Kelly Fabworks makes one for the 1000 and I think they are working on one for the 1500.
