Transmission, loud whining sound started

Mine usually does this above 60 mph, I never hear it at low speeds. Done it since new now about 2000 miles and it's no better nor any worse.

That’s not normal. You’ll need to take it in to the dealer.

mine too.

But did you watch the vide? It’s bad.

I’d have to say mine doesn’t have that whine either. Not loud enough for me to even notice. Have you checked your transmission fluid level? I’ve heard some machines have left the factory slightly under filled. My dealer has even mentioned that.

The law got strict around here so I really never get ours over 45 but never had a whine

Yes it does it while in park too, but I jacked the rear wheels off the ground and put it in F and it did not seem to do it

Would the transmission wine like that even while in park and roving it up? Another place I read about gravel and dirt getting inside the cover for the alternator and serpentine belt and creating issues. I have not pulled that yet.

Removing the serpentine is an excellent idea.
I couldn't open your first link but the second one sounded faster than the engine rpms. I would feel better about a alternator bearing if it were mine.

That's a new sound for me, I have nothing like that going on. Either way I'm assuming a trip to the dealer will be needed.

Just wanted to update everyone on what I heard from my dealer. They finally looked at the machine after it’s been there about three weeks.
Supposedly the noise is a bearing on the drive belt pulley. They have ordered parts and replacing under warranty.
I asked him if this was normal, and I thought he said, but broke up a little bit that given the hours and miles on the machine. I only have like 1480 miles on it in less than 200 hours so I wouldn’t think this would be normal. Hopefully I’ll get a little more information once they get finished.
